Who are Evenzy?

It all started just before the May bank holiday. Two old friends from Tameside were chatting about how to keep the kids entertained over the school break.

“I’m going to this event.”

“Oh really? How did you find out about that?”

That’s when it hit us: local events are scattered everywhere — hidden in Facebook groups, buried in local publications, or stuck on posters tied to lampposts. No wonder it’s hard to plan ahead. And no wonder so many event organisers struggle to get the audience they deserve — people simply don’t know what’s on.

We thought… what if there was one place for everything? A simple, one-stop platform listing all local events with photos, key info, and even the option to get updates about the things you actually care about.

The more we talked, the clearer it became: there was a big gap to fill. So, we got to work. From scribbled notes and late-night planning sessions, to a name, a logo, and then a platform — Evenzy was born.

Fast forward to August 2025, and Evenzy is live! Our focus now is simple: getting as many local events listed as possible. And the best part? It’s 100% free for organisers to post their events, helping us all build stronger, more connected communities.

We’ve got big plans for Evenzy, and we’d love the people of Tameside and Stockport to come along for the journey.
